McLean High School proudly presents LES MISERABLES: School Edition, one of the best loved musicals of all time. “Les Miz”, 25 years old this year, is based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo about a widely varied cast of characters in France during the years which culminated in the “June Rebellion” of 1832. This dramatic musical has love songs, comedy patter, choral grandiosity and stirring anthems. Some of the favorites include “One Day More,” “I Dreamed a Dream” and “On My Own.” The production is staged by the joint efforts of the schools nationally recognized theater and choral departments. The cast is lead by Damian Leverett, recipient of the 2012 National Capitol Area Cappie for Best Actor and the 2012 McLean HS Idol winner!
