    The Red Cross has issued a request for blood donors of all types to help fill a critical blood short fall in local blood banks.  Donors of type O Negative blood are in especially high demand.  Several staff members at Old Dominion Animal Health Center have committed to donating blood; however they need a minimum of 40 volunteers for this event.
